My Reaction
First reaction, “Ang gwapo ni Kenshin!”. Hahahaha! Anyways, frankly speaking, I’m not a die hard fan of Samurai X. Although I watch the anime from time to time when I was a kid, I really don’t know much about him. Luckily, Andrew and his siblings knows a lot about the history and informed me before hand. The movie also has an introduction how and when he chose the path he’s journeying.

The cast portrayed their role very well and I was really scared of the one who claims to be “Battosai”. The fight scenes were really good and I was convinced with the subtitles. It was a worthy 130-minute movie that everyone will definitely love especially the guys and of course Anime lovers.

It is unfortunate that the last day of showing is yesterday. They only aired in exclusively at SM Cinemas from December 5-9, 2012. I’m really not sure why is it so quick but I heard that they almost didn’t accept it because of the violence involved.

Nevertheless, I really had a great time. Eventhough the killing was a bit morbid for me, I still enjoyed it. I hope they will screen it again soon or even extend it as there are lots of movie goers didn’t get to catch it at that schedule. I’d love to have a personal copy of the film too.
