My Reaction

This one is a lot better than “the other” Spiderman. Honestly, I really don’t know the real story of Spiderman. It was Andrew and his siblings who told me that this was closest to the one written in comics. Well, the action scenes were nice and the cast has more depth than the previous one. Sorry for being biased but I’m just stating my opinion.

In this movie, Peter Parker’s passion for Science was emphasized. His thirst for knowledge was really showed in the movie. The spider web itself that comes out from the wrist of Spiderman was made by him and was also showed in the movie. Andrew Garfield, portraying Peter Parker was far more credible than Tobey Maguire. Uncle Ben’s character being a father figure to Peter was well depicted here. You’ll definitely feel the loss of Peter when Uncle Ben died. Emma Stone who played Gwen Stacey was new to me. All the while I thought MJ was the only love interest of Peter but I was wrong. He should have pursued Gwen instead of MJ. Hahaha! :) As my friend told me, she is a better hero lady than MJ.

All in all it was really a good movie. The whole family will enjoy it but still Parental Guidance is needed for the kids since there were lots of violent scenes in the movie. By the way, I also liked the costume of Peter Parker here and the way they described how Peter chose the design. There were more facts here so die hard comic lover would definitely be happy with it.
