Until the last day of our stay in Australia, we still manage to explore the wonders of the country. We first went to Central Coast then up to Hunter Valley to see the vineyard.
1. The Entrance
It is a district center and town of the Central Coast NSW. It occupies an area of land that is bounded by water on three sides. It gains its name from the channel that runs along much of its northern border that is “the entrance” to the Tuggerah Lakes. This is a very popular holiday for tourists and locals. The water was cold so I didn’t get the chance to swim. We only cross the border and walk in the shore.
Also, this is the Pelican Center of NSW. I think! hahaha. 🙂 I get to see the Pelican feeding session of the locals. It was a new site for me since there are no pelicans in the Philippines. I still confuse pelican to a stork. :p
2. Hunter Valley
“The Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest and one of its most well-known wine regions. Here you will find world-class Hunter Valley Semillon that has been called “Australia’s unique gift to the world’, great Australian Shiraz that lasts for generations, and generations of family winemakers that are here to tell the tale.” – from their website Hunter Valley Wine Country.
We saw the vineyardssssss but we didn’t get the chance to taste different kinds of wine since it’s already past 5pm. It’s so relaxing to see the greenery.

The following day, we went to nearby spots so that we’ll not be too tired for our trip going home. So we visited the following places:
4. Mary Mackillop Church
The church is located in Sydney CBD. Mary Mackillop will be the first Australian saint to date. She will have the distinction of being one of the rare saints to have been previously excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church. She was beatified in 1995 and will be canonised this May 2010 October 17, 2010. Every Catholic in Australia is so excited and happy about it.
5. Balmoral Beach
The last and the nearest beach we went in our stay in NSW. It’s about 10-15mins from where we are staying. It’s smaller compared to Bondi ofcourse but you can go there anytime though if you just want to take a dip like we did! 🙂
We had picnic that day and ate Chicken Caserole/Pastel or whatever it is called and fresh cherries too! I love the cherries!!! I’ll be looking for one in the Philippines. I hope it’s not that pricey.
6. Hooters Paramatta
Last dinner we had is in Hooters. Too bad there were no dancing of girls that night. It was Tuesday and it’s a Family Night for them. So the kids will join the family having dinner in Hooters. It’s like Friday’s though, nothing special except for the pretty girls. 🙂
So that’s it! My Adventure in Australia. If you have questions, just message me and I’ll be more than willing to help.
I really enjoyed our stay in Australia and very much thinking of Migrating there in the future, God willing.
(At last, natapos ko din to! after 1 month ng pagbalik ko dito sa pinas! hahaha. :p)
