this post is long overdue, this happened last May 1, 2011.
Some of my friends knew that it is one of my dreams to be part of a TV Commercial or even be print ads. So, here’s my shot to my first TVC. :p (pero di naman din ako nakita! hahaha.. :)))
That is entry for Facebook’s Pantene Bounce to be part of the Biggest Hair Movement. It was already the last week of sending entries when I joined and submitted my so called “bouncy hair”. Anyway, later I realized that all who joined Facebook’s Pantene Bounce bouncy hair or not were invited to be part of the biggest hair movement.
Here’s the summary of what transpired during the Pantene’s Biggest Hair Movement:
Everyone who confirmed to join the event must be on the pick up points that Pantene designated. I think there are 3 station points, Alabang, Manila and Ortigas. I thought that since it’s an official shoot, everybody will be on time which is supposed to be at 5:30am and will leave at exactly 5:45am. However, Filipino time has prevailed. So sad. Nevertheless, we just enjoyed the day.
My pick up point is in Starbucks Metrowalk. I arrived 5mins before the call time and I thought there would be lots of girls in white already. It was a requirement that we are to wear all white clothing that day with light/natural make up. However, even Pantene Bounce shuttle was not yet there. Anyway, as they arrived, we are in queue to register and find our seats inside the shuttle.
I was in Bus J, (I don’t know if they finished the alphabet for their shuttle number for the event) and talent number 10. Also, my new found friend is Marichu, my seatmate (later I knew that she knows my favorite FMA sister. ^_^) So we’re off to Hacienda Isabella in Tagaytay by 7am, I think.
And so our journey to our so called “star dome” begins. Hahaha! ^_^
We arrived around 9am already. We weren’t allowed to bring cameras and bags with us so we all left our things inside the shuttle. The pictures taken was only after the event/shoot when they informed us that we can take pictures of the place. So the pictures shown here came from the official photos from their facebook page and also from my camera that I’ve taken after the shoot.
We had our breakfast first c/o Kusina ni Kambal catering.
After breakfast, we head to the make over session sponsored by Pantene Philippines. A number of make up artists were there to be part of the event. (the make up artists are already resting when I took the picture.. imagine, more than 300 ladies for the day’s make over!)
There is also a separate make up room for the real models. Hahaha!
Here’s an image of the day’s set up:
After the make up session, we waited for our batch to be called for our first shoot. Our first shot was only 5 secs and it was 3-5 takes under the heat of the sun!
After that take, we took a rest again and the other batches do their shoots. We had our morning snacks then.
Since it’s almost lunch time, we had our buffet lunch after by the same caterer. Great food! ^_^
After lunch time, we had our names written in the graffiti board and next was the pictorial with Angelica Panganiban, the endorser of Pantene’s Nature Care. The picture taking was done by bus number. ๐
After the pictorial with Angelica is our 2nd shoot where all the girls are in this scene. This was the last scene you can see in their TVC for Pantene Bounce teaser. (Check out 0.33 onwards)
After the shoot, we had our afternoon snacks and took some photos from their photobooth sponsored by Pose & Print Photobooth.
Here’s our shots from the photobooth:
After the photobooth, we had our group’s picture nearing the end of the day.
The last thing we did was the solo shot showing the ‘bouncy hair’. Hahaha! (feeling ako eh..)
Towards the end of the day, the awarding of prizes for the most bouncy hair, best dressed, director’s choice and raffle winners of 20,000 cash!
We got our gift packs after as we go back to our shuttle service.
It was a hot and tiring day. I realized that being an artist/model is such a hard job too or maybe not for all. Nevertheless, it was such a unique experience to most of us.
