DLSU’s MS-IT program – Confirmed!

Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT)

The MSIT degree program was established mainly for industry practitioners who would like to develop and improve their capability in using information technology and in applying IT to the modern business setting

I’ve told you before that I applied for MS-IT’s graduate program, I had my entrance exam last March 6 and got the results last March 30. Sarah, my officemate was the one who confirmed my application. I just gave her an authorization letter since I am planning to go for a vacation tomorrow. It still depends though.

Anyways, she told me thru JayJhaze that they already confirmed my application. However, they also told me that I am to take Remedial Classes for Data Structure, Java and Assembly! waaaahh! My goodness! hahaha. 🙂 I will then take my first 2 semesters of Graduate School remembering those 3 subjects. This means that during our entrance exam, I failed these 3 subjects that’s why I’m going to take it again. Boo!

Nevertheless, I still got admitted. 😉

    Thanks Jarek, actually hindi ako natuloy dyan. Hahaha! Usually 2 years mo yan i-take if not full time. Entrance Exam is aroudn 600 i think. Tuition, around 35k. However, it is best to check their website for accuracy. It might be outdated already since it’s been years. hehe.nnGood luck with your Masterals. Better check their Scholarship program to help you with the expenses. 🙂

        Honestly, I can’t remember it anymore. If you’re reviewing for the exam, just make sure you know the basics of each major subjects. You also need to work on an essay afterwards so try to re-learn your essay writing techniques.

    Hi, I’m planning to take MS-IT this 2nd term. But I’m not a programmer by profession. Does the program consists of hardcore programming subjects?

      You might want to call DLSU to verify that. Maybe some units can be credited but I’m not really sure.
