International Coffee Day with Mr Black

I’ve been a coffee drinker ever since I began working. When I was in the University, I didn’t feel the need of caffeine to keep me awake. However, when I started working late hours, having a long day, I can’t help but give in to sip a cup of coffee.

Well, it’s not that bad. The bitter taste that I hated before seems to be nothing. I’ve been used to drinking the all in one powdered drink. However, when I got to Sydney, I learned to love coffee beans.

In line with this, we’re celebrating International Coffee Day on the 29th of September. What do you plan of having for the day?

Why not enjoy a delicious Mr Black espresso martini to celebrate the occasion?

MR BLACK is the brainchild of Phillip Moore and Tom Baker, two men in a shed, who used crowd-funding website ‘Pozible’ to turn their idea in to a reality in 2013.

Tired of other nationalities claiming high prices for their inferior booze & ‘coffee’ style products, it took the dynamic duo more than six months, 240 iterations and blending coffee from three continents to lovingly craft a cold drip coffee beverage that tastes like damn fine coffee.

The hard work was not in vain with the team picking up a Gold Medal at the London International Wine & Spirits Competition and taking the title of ‘World’s Best Coffee Liqueur.’

This coffee innovation really looks interesting. I should definitely would try one!
