2nd Anniversary Celebration: Basix at Dusit Thani Hotel

I was about to share our 3rd anniversary and realized I’ve not written our 2nd year together. Hahaha! It’s been a year already so I might forget some of the details of our mini celebration.

Early last year, Andrew’s car had a major paint job. He decided to change its color from dark green to white. There has been some problems along the way causing the delay of the release. Thus, we didn’t have a car. We then decided to celebrate it in the Metro since it would be hard to travel out of town unlike on our first year.

Anyway, since we’re budgeting our expenses, I bought a deal from CashCashPinoy for a discounted buffet at Basix Restaurant at Dusit Thani Hotel.

I dressed girly that time. I’m not into those before unlike these days. I curled my hair but eventually straighten up when we had our lunch. Boo! I even put some make up but seeing the pictures, I’m not that confident to play with my face that time. Hahaha! I re-visited my entry of our 1st year Anniversary and surprised to see myself again in short hair and no make up. Well, it’s opposite nowadays. Hehehe!

We first heard mass in Greenbelt before going to Dusit Thani. It was our first time in Basix so we were pretty much excited.

It was past lunch time when we went there so we were already starving, just in time to taste all the cuisine.

One thing I noticed was the section where they serve local street foods. I love fishballs/squidballs! However, because of the rumpant news about getting Hepa A/B when u eat the ones they sell by the street. But I still eat those if I crave! Hahaha!

There were usual food sections such as the salad bar, main course and of course the dessert bar. I had my own share of each dish they had and my own crepe.

We had a sumptuous lunch in Basix Restaurant. We even recommend it to our friends and family who crave for street foods but too scared to try the ones on the streets.

Time Zone

After the full meal we had, we decided to stroll in Glorietta and Greenbelt and finally took some time in TimeZone! Hahaha! I personally like to play the driving game even though I don’t know how to drive. Although I like Karting, driving a car has always been a fear for me. I’m scared that I might bump the car next to me, etc. So until now, I just drive inside the village where there are only few cars roaming around the area. Hehe!

Arcade

It was a fun day and we enjoyed our time together. It’s not the mushy or tweetums kind of thing but a sweet, practical one. It’s a milestone that we reached our 2 years being in a relationship and we’re happy we still have each other despite the rough times we had.

I’m sure we’re both looking forward to our next yearssss together. πŸ™‚
