Last Monday night I was invited to a one of a kind event. It was an intimate event held at the Loft area of M Cafe in Greenbelt 4. There were a number of bloggers, new faces for me and familiar faces too like Shen of Shen’s Addiction and Martha or The Beauty Junkee.
While waiting for the event to start, a video was looping infront of us making everyone curious what this project is all about. These 2 girls were hired for the Lady Gaga concert and was given an upper-box ticket. And because of their exemplary display of energy through out the event, they were asked to join the VIP box. They were even invited to join the party after the concert. How cool was that? Just displaying an outstanding confidence, you’ll never know what surprise will come your way. This made us more anxious to know more about the upcoming project.
After a while, the event started. As mentioned, they introduce their newest promo called “Rexona Confidence Project“. This activity aims to look for the confident girls who dare themselves to complete fun, exciting challenges for 30 days.
The Rexona Confidence Project is an online series featuring 2 confident girls who dare themselves to complete fun, exciting challenges for 30 days. This adventure will run from June 29, 2012 to July 29, 2012.
To join the Rexona Confidence Project, simply follow these three easy steps: Grab your BFF and shoot an audition video, send your video entry to rexonaconfidenceproject@gmail.com or upload it in YouTube and share it with your friends. Deadline for submission of your video entries is on June 17, 2012.
Rexona will pick 5 pairs of finalists, but only one pair will get the chance to star in Rexona’s first online series. Not only will the winning pair bring home half a million pesos, they will also get to experience an adventure of a lifetime!
And as a prelude to this thrilling project, we were asked to look for a partner and do one of the following “challenges“:
1. Get to know a stranger and get his number.
2. Do a catwalk in the area between M Cafe and Ayala Museum.
3. Sing Call Me Maybe to a stranger.
4. Dance and Sing like Lady Gaga (somewhat like this..)
I partnered with Janese of LakwatseraMom and did the 1st option. We were sent off all at the same time and the one who gots back will win the challenge.
It was so crazy that Janese sat beside the first guy we saw when we went out the cafe. The guy was literally startled since she just sat down and ask his number without any introduction. I was laughing out loud and can’t believe we’re actually doing the challenge. Well, at least it was dark so our faces were not that recognizable (I hope!). I was the one who took a video of her doing the challenge and surprisingly, “Nelson” was kind enough to cooperate with us and gave us his number. At the end, we thanked him and introduce ourselves too so that he’ll know that we’re not stalkers.
We went back with a grin and found out that we were the first pair to finish the dare. Yaahooo! We got a certificate worth 5k of Charina Sarte’s swimwear collection. 🙂

I’m sure everyone had a great time coz everybody’s giggling. It was so cool I really want to join the Rexona Confidence Project. However, time-wise I’m not sure if I can be part of it. But it’s sooooo much fun and I can’t help but share it with friends and readers too.
