I am not a burger fan like my loving boyfriend but I do want to try some burritos! One time after a job interview in Makati, we decided to try the Army Navy in Dela Rosa. They only have a small space so it tends to be so crowded after office hours. Luckily we got a small space near the counter area.

I ordered the Chicken Burrito Php 165 and Andrew ordered the Carnitas(Pork) Burrito Php 175.

Their Burrito is described as flour tortilla filled with meat, spanish rice, beans, onions, lettuce and cilantro. It is also served with salsa and a slice of lime.

Army Navy’s burrito is literally stuffed with all the ingredients mentioned above. I only get to eat half of it and I’m really full. If I’m that hungry maybe I can finish it but that time I wasn’t starving. It’s like a shawarma but with carbo overload. Haha! This is not a good choice for people who are in a diet. But they can still try one on cheat days. ๐Ÿ™‚ The chicken is for me better than the pork. Just my own opinion.

We also ordered their famous Freedom Fries (Seasoned, thin-cut, crispy, zesty fries) Php 65 and I had one regular LiberTea (Freshly Brewed Iced tea) Php 65.

LiberTea and Freedom Fries

The fries is remarkable! The crispiest and thinnest fries I’ve ever tried so far. You can’t resist eating everthing in one seating. If I haven’t tried the burritos, maybe I can finish 2 orders of these freedom fries! A definite must try. ๐Ÿ™‚

Their LiberTea drink is just fine. Nothing to brag about since I’ve tasted the same drink somewhere else. Good thing is they really taste “freshly brewed” iced tea.

Overall, we did enjoy our dinner that night. We’ll definitely go back for more fries and might try their burger too.
