My Reaction
I never knew that this was a trilogy similar to Twilight’s Saga. Knowing that, I think this movie will be a hit after this first book adaption. I wanted to read the book and compare it with the movie but I’m really not a fan of books, sad to say. I will just rely on the movies and hoping it’s close to the original.
I like the futuristic part of the movie but didn’t exactly like all the killing and fighting. Although I know it’s part of the game and it’s supposed to be that way, it’s nice that they didn’t show every killing act of the movie. They just hear the gun shots when someone died.
Good as it might seem, I wonder why would someone think of a game like that? It saddens me that people might actually doing it in some parts of the world. Not as grand as the movie but similar. All the violence and greed, how can they make it as an entertainment?
Anyway, back to the movie. It plays more than 2 hours but you won’t mind. Every scene was executed and transitioned nicely and in the end you won’t notice that more than 2 hours has passed.
I would definitely watch the next book’s adaptations. I hope they would release it after a year.
How do you find the movie?
