Today marks the start of the Chinese New Year 2012. It’s the year of the Dragon. I’m not a Chinese but sometimes I read horoscopes for fun. Let’s see what’s in store for me for the rest of the year.
First off, let’s learn more about the Dragon. According to the Chinese Zodiac, it occupies the 5th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Dragon is the mightiest of the signs. It is also the only mythological creature in the Chinese zodiac. Dragons prefer to live by their own rules and if left on their own, are usually successful. They’re driven, unafraid of challenges, and willing to take risks. They’re passionate in all they do and they do things in grand fashion. Unfortunately, this passion and enthusiasm can leave Dragons feeling exhausted and interestingly, unfulfilled.
Water Dragons – Years 1952 and 2012
Water calms the Dragon’s fire. Water Dragons are able to see things from other points of view. They don’t have the need to always be right. Their decisions, if well-researched, are usually better since they allow other’s to become involved.
So I thought it’s just a simple year of the Dragon, little did I know that Dragons have 5 elements: metal, water, wood, firs and earth. And as stated above, this year is specifically the “Water Dragon“.
Now let’s see what’s my horoscope for the year having the Zodiac sign: Rat. I did some research and the horoscope from the Chinese Fortune Calendar was the nicest so far. Hahaha!
Rat people’s fortune in 2012 Dragon year is fair. It shouldn’t have a very exciting result or a very sad ending. Rat is in the Water group of Chinese Five Elements astrology. Dragon contains Earth, Water and Wood. In Chinese astrology, Dragon has a nickname, the Water Dam. When Rat Water enters the Dragon Water Dam, then the water will stop and stay inside. This implies Rat people won’t see outstanding achievement in the Dragon year, but it doesn’t mean that you have trouble in career, money or love. It only means you might get less return than you expected even if you put more effort in it. As long as you don’t aim too high, you will be satisfied with what you will do in 2012.
Rat Water is connected to wisdom. In the Dragon year, Rat people can spend more time learning, improving job skills, and placing emphasis physical exercise. Money: Money luck is fair and steady. 2012 is Water Dragon year. Rat people will be busy enjoying their social life.
