On my way to Tektite the other day, I saw an eJeepney! This was the free ride I read about roaming around Ortigas area. Since I’m 30minutes ahead of schedule, I decided to hop on and ride the eJeep.
The lady in green aka Green Police has a log book and let all the passengers sign in. Since I’m curious what this eJeepney is all about, I asked her some questions.
Me: Ma’m bakit po may free ride sa e-Jeepney?
Green Police: Ma’m hangga’t wala pong prankisa, libre po ang sakay ditto.
Me: Ah ganon ba?
Me: Ah okay yun ah!
Me: So talagang yung “e” sa e-Jeep eh may kaugnayan sa Mayor no?
Green Police: smiles
So basically, I rode the e-Jeep twice before I got off to Tektite. I could’ve made it 3-4 times but the rain poured so hard and leaves me no choice to get off.
The eJeepney will definitely make a difference in helping the Philippines to be a clean and green environment. However, if we implement all vehicles to be an eJeep, what will happen to all the drivers of our current jeepneys?
I hope to ride all the eJeepneys before the free ride expires!
