Some of you have read my previous entry claiming the Ensogo deal for a haircut in Benefits Salon. Recently, I visited Benefits Salon again not for another haircut but for a hair keratin treatment. I’ve availed this promo from Ensogo too which I claimed on the deadline. That served as a lesson for me not to book on the day of the deadline. As expected, a lot of customers claimed the voucher that day. Thankfully, I was accommodated even though we spent 1.5hrs waiting in a queue.
Anyways, I’ve visited them again to see if their services were consistent. Thanks for Sam Escalante for making me an insider spy that day. Haha! 🙂
I went there as an ordinary customer. I just approached the front desk and she already knew who I am. There were still customers on queue so I waited in their lounge area. In the reception desk, you’ll see a number of calling cards of the salon’s stylists. Since I liked their choice of colors, I really felt at home in the salon.
I waited in their lounge area where you can see their display of hair products. There’s also a wide selection of magazines for the customers! Take note, all their magazines are up to date unlike some of the salons I’ve been to, their magazines are dates a year ago already!
After a couple of minutes, I was escorted to the hair washing area. I wasn’t able to take a picture of their wash area but took a picture of what you can see when their washing your hair. haha!
And then, off to the salon area. If you’ve been in Benefits Salon, you’ll notice that majority of their stylists are men. I really don’t find them gay but real men. It always amazes me whenever I see a real men doing these kind of jobs. Imagine, taking care of someone else’s hair every single day? I always believe only women can do that. The patience and the nitty gritty of everything in the salon. Anyways, back to the topic, the one in charge of doing my hair treatment is Wowie but his real name was Edward. (ang layo no? haha!)
While he was putting the treatment in my hair, I was busy reading the latest Preview magazine. I stumbled upon a page where they featured a Human Heart Nature product: hand and foot salve. It’s definitely a must have for everyone who wants to have a smooth and soft hand and foot. Since I’m a Human Heart Nature dealer, I was proud that the products I sell was featured in the magazine. 🙂
Anyway, after putting the treatment, they wrapped my hair with a cellophane. While waiting, they also do a back massage for the customers. They have a timer that will ensure that the treatment stays in my hair for 45mins. I honestly didn’t notice this before when I first had my treatment.
After that, my hair was rinsed and then blow dry comes next. Rusty, a senior stylist offered if I want to have my hair trimmed but I declined. I don’t want to sabotage my agreement with Sam since we only talked about the treatment and not the hair cut. Anyway, he was accommodating enough so he handed me offer a number of vouchers to be given to my friends. This offer is only valid until July 31, 2011.
I had a wonderful time with them and was thankful for their warm accommodation and the hair treatment of course. My hair was definitely soft and shinny. Until now (it’s been almost 2 weeks already), I can still feel the softness of my hair. It even reduced my hair fall. It’s really a thumbs up. Their service is better than the first treatment I had.
Thank you Benefits Style Salon! More Powers!
