Knicker Bocker & BuzBox Scrambles

Have you tried these new desserts in SM Megamall’s food court?

I’ll just tell you a little something of these 2 new desserts I recently tried in Megamall.

1. Knicker Bocker
You’ll see this stall at once when you enter the food court area (infront of fuji film entrance). It is located on the right side of the aisle. Honestly, I don’t like their design, it’s not that attractive. I’m sorry but I don’t know the reason of putting the red slant lines behind the green name. Maybe they need to re-design it to attract customers. They need some advertising upgrade.

It claims to be the Original Zamboanga’s Dessert by Palmera Restaurant. I don’t even know that restaurant. Maybe it’s famous there in Mindanao so they tried expanding here in Manila. For the price of Php 59, you’ll get to taste one unique dessert.

In fairness, me and my boyfriend was impressed with its taste. It is composed of 2 layers of bite-sized watermelon, mangoes and bananas with vanilla ice cream in between then topped with strawberry ice cream with condensed milk! Very Yummy! I do recommend this to my friends. ๐Ÿ˜‰

2. BuzBox Scrambles
Remember my blog about scrambles in Puerto Galera? We both loved the scramble so we tried this scramble craze in megamall. I think this is also owned by Turks Shawarma because it says so in their signage. Hehe!

I was amazed with the long queue buying the scrambles. Maybe because it’s new and their stall was quite cute, a combination of pink and black which is very attractful for clients plus the cheap prize of each.

The small scramble is only Php 10, then medium for Php 14, and large for Php 17. The free toppings is milk and the chocolate and strawberry syrup. Additional toppings costs Php 3 each with choices of milk, candy sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, marshmallows and sago.

buzbox large scramble

I thought it would taste like the ones we had in Puerto Galera but we were disappointed. I regret that we ordered the large size for taste test. We should have gotten the small size first. The first few scoops are fine but after a while, you won’t be enjoying the taste anymore. It’s like you’re just eating a pink colored crushed ice!

To wrap it up, I obviously recommend the Knicker Bocker than the later. Try it and give me your ideas. (^_^)v
