Last time I ate at Behrouz was when the Vega family invited me to go with them. I was in college back then. We ate in the first branch in Timog if I remember it right. It was located on the sidewalk and never thought it would taste good.
On Ate Cha’s birthday, we dine out in Behrouz Metrowalk. It was also Andrew’s first time to eat in a Persian Restaurant but we both love shawarmas.
Anyway, we ordered Humus with BTO (because it seems like the waiter doesn’t want us to order Humus and BTO separately).
We also ordered chicken and beef kebab since the lamb kebab is not available.
Then we had basmati rice which cost Php 50 but we asked to make it half since we can’t finish it. We ordered 5 breads as well.
It turns out that the bread is much better option than the rice. By the way, the waiter gave us a butter which we didn’t order. We are so hungry to complain so we just accepted it. The butter will cost you another Php 10. I almost forgot, we also ordered ox brain that tastes like penoy! :p
We enjoyed the food together with the yogurt w/ cucumber but I still can’t appraise their hospitality. We just thought they are already tired of all the days work that’s why they are acting a bit weird that night.
Happy Birthday Ate Cha!
