Having girlfriends is such a bliss! You can do anything you want like chatting all night long, shopping, eating and everything!
I’ve always been thankful to have such a wonderful girls with me through thick and thin. We’ve been through a lot ever since we met in UST Campus Ministry. We are all serving as Thomasian Volunteers who are helping proclaim God’s word and serving the Lord with whatever we have, may it be through singing, dancing, hosting, leading or anything for God’s glory.
Last weekend, we got to spend the whole night with only us girls! We missed Ate Jo bigtime! So we had a night full of laughter.
To start off, I’m late! Our call time is 6pm but they were already together as early as 4-5pm I think. We had dinner in a Japanese Restaurant as per Zeny’s request. Mind you, she doesn’t like Japanese food but she told me that this time she wants to try one since Ate Jo, Ate Pache and Me loves Japanese foods.
We ate in Sugi and they ordered Sukiyaki and Spider Rolls and also my favorite Edamame. ๐ We had the loudest voice in the resto! :p Since they were already eating when I arrived, they waited for me to finish eating. We all loved the Spider Rolls that’s why we had 2 orders of this for that night. So we had most of our time in Sugi, I think.
After dinner, of course we’re off to a dessert place. Since Sugi is in Greenbelt 2, we walked our way to Greenbelt 5 for dessert. Along the way, we can’t resist going inside the shops to window shop. Good thing I’m with the girls so we all agreed to go inside some stores.
We went inside Charles & Keith and I forgot the names of the other stores. We were fitting shoes in every store! I loved the red Melissa Shoes! I’ll try to budget my allowance and will re-think if I’ll purchase one. Check out the shoe image courtesy of my friend’s foot. Hahaha! ๐
We spent around 30 mins trying all sorts of styles! Finally, we decided to go to Gelatissimo where we will have our dessert. It’s a new gelato store in Greenbelt 5. As always, gelato are yummy but pricey. A small cup is worth Php110 and 1 flavor only. I got the macademia and caramel!
While eating the gelato, we decided to make the most out of our get together and so we went straight to Jupiter! It’s been years since we had our Videoke together. So, this is the moment we’ve been waiting for. They gave us the large room since that’s the only room available. It cost us Php 550 per hour. We all had our own share of songs. But the climax of our videoke moment is when Ate Jo and Ate Gen sang the song “Electric Youth” by Debbie Gibson. Zeny and I doesn’t know the song but they were singing their heart out with matching action that time. We were laughing so hard since it was already 11.45 pm and their energy is rising up again.
Life is beautiful if you have your friends to share your life with. ๐
