Breaking News: Worst #SydneyStorm after a decade

First of all, my apologies for my first post this year. I wanted it to be something cheerful but apparently things didn’t work out as planned.

This week I must say, is the worst weather that I experienced in Sydney since I moved here. The unending pouring rain and gusting winds banging of our windows made me nervous. I’ve never seen this kind of weather here! I know this is a bit normal in the Philippines but not here. Oh well, hello global warming!

We’ve experienced train delays, traffic jams, tree falling, wall falling, floods and the like. They say it’s “umbrellagedon” because it’s the death of the umbrellas. Hahaha! Good thing I just bought myself a rain jacket a week ago. Hopefully the weather gets better by the end of the week and we’ll see the bright sun once again. I hope the government will do their best to help the victims of this calamity.

Here are some of the tweets & pictures I saw on social media this week:

I hope the weather will be better and everything will be restored soon. So stay safe and warm until we see the sunshine again.
