2014 Sydney: Sculpture By The Sea

It’s been a blessing for me as well as the residents of Sydney to appreciate nature at its best. Here in Sydney, we have the luxury of enjoying the surroundings free of charge. It is kept clean and well maintained. You just have to know where to go and what to see in this beautiful city.

Every year, there’s an art exhibit in Bondi called Sculpture by the Sea. It was tagged to be one of the world’s largest free to the public events. This year 2014, it started on the 23rd of October until the 9th of November. But I think they extended it because a friend of ours who is visiting from the Philippines was able to see these sculptures.

It is a 2km coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama beach with over 100 sculptures created by artists in Australia and across the world. There’s an art gallery mid-way to Tamarama beach where you can see all the sculptures that were placed along the coastal walk.

This will be an annual event for me and my friends. It’s such a great feeling appreciating art with the company of friends in one of the beautiful cities in the world. Did you like it?
