The Sto. Tomas e-Service Providers (STePS) had their annual outing last March 24-26, 2006 at Lago de Oro, Calatagan Batangas. I, Nico and Allan was part of the group this year.
We met in MiniStop España together with Sir Dan. Then go straight to Park and Ride where the terminal to Nasugbu can be found. We left at 5:45am then arrived in Batangas at around 8:30am. We rode a PUJ going to Calatagan.
Nico and I strolled around the area and we found a stretch of sand. We hurried ourselves only to realize that we’re quite far from where we should be. Then we had our lunch together with the company.
I took some rest and woke up at around 3pm to eat our snacks and ride the “balsa”. I was injured during our stay but I’m fine now. I just had some serious cut and bruises. katangahan kse nung alambre eh.. We spend the whole afternoon there and were back onshore by dinner time.
I watched “Flight Plan” after dinner and the others had their share of liquor drinks. I didn’t join them because I felt like resting coz my wound is hurting big time.
The next day, we had our breakfast beside the pool. Honestly, I didn’t enjoy the food. Sorry but it’s not that good. Tolerable though! Anyways, after breakfast we played volleyball and then tried the famous “Water Ski Experience” in the resort.
I thought it was easy but I was wrong!!! It’s really hard especially if you’re on your way turning on the sides. It was a different experience considering my cut is in my knee area and the beginner mode of skiing must use a kneeling board. Beat that?! We took a lot of pictures and some videos but I can’t share it all with you. After lunch, we packed our things and arrived in Manila at around 5pm.
