Theology on Tap: The 12 Step Program to Heaven

Early this month I was invited by the Our Lady of the Way Youth Group to join them in Parramatta for the Theology on Tap series. So what is it really?

“Theology on Tap” is a casual and relaxed forum where friends from all walks of life gather for straight talk, hard facts and real answers on our faith and how it applies to daily life.About, Theology on Tap

Fr. Emmerich Vogt, O.P.

That night, the topic was “The 12 Step Program to Heaven”. The speaker was a Dominican priest from the USA, Fr. Emmerich Vogt, O.P. I must say, it was really a good talk. It’s been a while since I attended such conference. I’ve learned a lot and he really communicated well. Although I didn’t really get the “steps” on how to go to heaven, I learned that feelings or emotions are not considered a sin. It’s the action you do because of that emotion. Gets? Hehe!

The venue was filled with young people listening attentively to every word that Fr. Emmerich is saying. It was a great night for everyone. We had the opportunity to mingle with the youth and got to know Dominican sisters too.

By mid July, we made it to Sydney’s Catholic Weekly. Haha! I felt like a star.

Well, that’s just one of my awesome adventures in Sydney. Hoping for more in the coming days!
