Dove Damage Therapy Intense Hair Repair Event

I am a Dove girl, both for the moisture soap and their hair care line. I’ve blogged about Dove’s Hair Fall shampoo and conditioner and I totally recommend it.

As you’ve noticed in recent commercials or ads by Dove, they have this campaign “Dove Real Women“. This promotes the natural aspect of a woman’s beauty. Since its launch early this year, Dove Hair has proved why it is loved and respected worldwide. A brand who keeps women’s desires close to heart, Dove Hair Care focuses more on developing their products to give women from different walks of life what they need to feel beautiful.

I was invited in an intimate event by Dove Philippines and showcased their Dove Damage Therapy Intense Hair Repair line. I had the opportunity to get to see other bloggers and celebrities as well. I was supposed to see Delamar of RX93.1 but there was an emergency that time so she couldn’t make it. She’s one of the reasons why I started using Dove’s hair care products. Hehe! 🙂

The event was held in a private house in Forbes Park that they elegantly transformed for the event. A long table for the guests and a huge screen for the presentation. It was hosted by Claudine Trillo with some words of the Brand Manager for Dove Hair Carlo Isla. He said, “Dove believes that every woman deserves beautiful hair, that’s why we are more interested in what real women have to say about it.”

To continue its mission of providing superior care to women’s locks, Dove Hair got real ladies who excel in different fields as they bear witness to the brand’s latest breakthrough.

Some of the ladies who attest to the brand’s promise are Atty. Karen Jimeno, Founder of Project Pink, Lara Melissa de Leon Joseph, and nutrionist Nadie Tengco. Atty Karen Jimeno says with a smile, “This is the product that really works and you don’t have to use so much time just to make your hair beautiful.” While breast cancer survivor and founder of Project Pink Lara Melissa de Leon Joseph shares, “My hair is important to me, so it is also important that I choose the right product.” Women have always worried about dry hair, same goes for the woman behind the success of the Philippines’ Biggest Loser and Sexy Solutions by Belo Nadine Tengco, “When I first got the call, I thought to myself, Is my hair that bad?”, she says with a laugh, “But after trying it, I’ll definitely continue using it because I get quality without the price tag.”

Adding to the list of real women who have experienced Dove Hair are entrepreneur Kai Lim, founder of StartART project Nikki Luna, founder of Mercato Centrale group of markets Vanessa Ledesma, business development manager Amanda Lapus, health advocate Isabel Roces, image enhancement speaker Patty Betita, editor-at-large of Philippine Tatler Mia Borromeo, accessories designer Nicole Whisenhunt, tri-athlete Ani de Leon, stylist Bea Constantino, Radio DJ Delamar Arias, and Youtube sensation Ashley Rivera.

I would also like to acknowledge Modern Epicurean Kitchen, caterer who served us savory “merienda“.

I do apologize that I forgot to note what these were:

They also introduced something new that day. Dove Hair Care also aims to give every girl a perfect hair moment which is why they proudly feature #Flickability—an online application that lets women see for themselves that they too can have lust worthy hair usually reserved for only celebrities on TV. With the help of Dove Hair, ladies get the chance to feel beautiful and even share their flick-worthy locks to their family and friends. As for the event’s souvenir, they also invited Skitbooks . They are flipbooks – stack of images binded and then flipped. Remember your childhood days where you draw something at the bottom of your notebooks and created your own animations? They are exactly like that. I first saw this in an article featuring Jolina Magdangal’s wedding. It was so amazing that we can do it as many as we want. =)) I had 3 copies, 2 solo and 1 with fellow blogger Jes Roque. It was really fun. Awkward at first but so cool when you get your flipbook!

Obviously, we had fun in the event. Though it’s a bit shorter than the other events I’ve attended to, still we had a good time.
