Just recently, I purchased a couple of beauty products. Since I learned how to put on make up, I was kinda obsessed of completing my set with the right tools as well as colors that I will normally wear on a daily basis. Well, the neutrals are always there but I found out that majority of my eye shadows are like that and I only have pink and blue as an option. I wanted to have a wide variety of colors so I purchased some palettes from NYX, brushes from Charm as well as Brush Guards as an addition to my makeup kit.
Here are some my NYX purchases:
1. Eyeshadow base primer
I never thought this little thing would make such a difference. Using a primer would make your eyeshadow stand out and last longer than usual.
2. Fuchsia Lip Liner
I always loved my Pink lippy, so I decided to buy this liner which is very much similar to the color of my stick to make my lips more defined.
3. Jumbo Liners
The white one can be placed in your teardrop and used as a highlight as well. The iced mocha can be an everyday eyeshadow to add color to your eyes.
4. 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette: Versus
I like the color combination of this palette since majority of my clothes are in blues and purples. This can also be used for smokey eyes if I want more drama. Haha!
5. 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette: Secret World
This is an alternative to my usual colors. If I want to play with bright, summer colors, at least I have this palette to use. I hope I can use this in the future ‘coz I’m really not good in combinations. :p
As mentioned, I also purchased Charm Makeup Pro brushes to better equip me on putting on makeup. (Feeling professional naman! hahaha!) Anyway, these two brushes, Stippling Brush (black) and the Blending Brush (pink) are the brushes I still don’t have in my set. I purchased Ellana brushes early last year and I’m happy with it. My supportive boyfriend gave me a 21pc brush set but not all of them are useful. After buying these 2, I think I have the essential brushes I needed.
Finally, I purchased 2 packs of Brush Guards in Variety Pack for my brushes. It’s a cleaning protection so that your precious brushes will last longer. The brushes are a bit pricey so it’s a must to take care of them. Besides, that’s the one you use in your face so it’s just right that it should be cleansed daily. You don’t want to use something that would harm your face right?
So that’s it. I don’t know if I’m gonna purchase makeups anytime soon. Well, maybe try a new one from time to time.
