Yummy Friday: Angel’s Kitchen

Today I’m gonna take you to a nice dessert place… Angel’s Kitchen’s Heavenly Desserts!

Angel’s Kitchen is a Home Café ♥ by 5 mothers -Marnie Ong -Lisa Sy -Lina Tan -Lucy Ong -Maizie Qua, according to their Facebook Page.

It’s my first time to dine here so I was pretty excited. They do have main course meals but we already had it somewhere else so we head to the desserts menu at once.

We ordered different kinds of cakes/pie and then we just shared when they arrived. I’ll rate it from my least to best preference. Take note, this rating is for my opinion only. You might consider one better than the other. So here we go:

5. Mango Cream Pie (Php 198)
Everybody Loves Mango!

Mango Cream Pie

It looks and taste yummy but I actually thought I was eating my mom’s fridge cake. It’s similar but this one’s creamier than the fridge cake.

4. Chocnut Capuccino Pie (Php 178)
A Coffeeholic’s Dream
Espresso coffee-flavored with Kahlua liquer and cream in Choc Nut candy crust.

True enough, the one ordered this pie is a coffeeholic! It’s good but I’m not a fan of cakes or pies with liquer.

3. Malakoff (Php 188)
Our verson of the classic Sans Rival.
Layers of Lady Fingers laced with butter cream, walnuts and chocolate ganache.
Definitely a must try…

Malakoff

A mocha sansrival! I love sansrival but the classic one. The cake has many walnuts that’s why it felt like I’m actually eating more nuts than the cake itself. It tastes good though.

2. Choco Lava (Php 188)
With succulently soft centers and vanilla ice cream.

If you’ve been to Fleur de Lys in Tomas Morato, you’ll be amazed how big the Choco Lava is in Angel’s Kitchen. The ice cream and the chocolate definitely made me crave for more. I’m actually battling whose going to be on spot 2 and spot 1 ‘coz I like both cakes.

1. Oreo Cheesecake (Php 178)
An instant favorite.
It looks and tastes like an actual Oreo Cookie!

Surprisingly, their tag line for this cake is true! One bite and I can’t stop asking them to try the cake. My friends would definitely agree coz when the cake was back to the one who ordered it, it was half the size already. Haha!

I might forget, we also ordered one of their teas called “Blooming Tea” (Php 158). It’s a combination of Green Tea, Chrysanthemum and Jasmine tea! Why blooming you might ask? Check out the photos, it actually blooms when the tea is ready. Really cool!

By the way, I managed to take a picture of their dessert menu, so take a look and see what you want to get when you go there!

  1. The blooming tea is quite interesting (and impressive). Was it good? And how many servings does it have? Seems that it is not a single serving tea..

    1. Hi Chard! It smells like sampaguita. :)) But it tastes good. We had 3 servings that night. Maybe you can use it as long as you can extract something from the tea leaves. 🙂 Try it!

  2. Yummy ang Post nato…nHeaven na Heaven ang mga desserts…:)

    1. Yummy no? Pictures lang yan, pag nakain mo.. yum talga! 🙂
