Our last day adventure in Singapore is Sentosa Tour.
This was our last day so we have to maximize everything before 9pm. Our flight was at 12mn so we have to be in the airport by 10.30-11pm.
Anyway, here’s what we did in our last day. First stop, Toast Box in Vivo City. We want to taste the authentic Kaya Toast in Yakun but we didn’t have the time to do that so we settled in Toast Box (which by the way is also located in Trinoma mall basement, beside BreadTalk).

Our next stop, outlet stores in Singapore!
This day supposed to be KKL (Kanya-Kanyang Lakad) since we all have someone to meet in Singapore. However, since it is on a Monday all of my friends are working and is busy so I can’t force them to meet me. Roocie has somewhere to go to and so I’m going to accompany Reg to her shopping spree! ^_^
First stop was in Queenstown Mall. I actually don’t like the place so we just checked the stores then went to Anchor’s Point Mall. Since it’s already lunch time, we decided to eat … [ Continue reading August Travel 2010: Singapore Day 3 – Shopping Day! ]

Our 2nd day adventure, Universal Studios Singapore!!! ^___^ * all $ are in SGD *
Universal Studios Singapore: Kim, Kath, Roocie and Reg
First, we went to the train station to top up our EZLink Card. The minimum top up value is $10. So we all had our own experience of using their top up machines. Singapore’s train station is clean and organized but when you get to the stations where you can transfer to other line, it gets very busy and disturbing.

We got a promo fare from Cebu Pacific that cost us around Php 4500 plus travel tax Php 1620 and terminal fee of Php 750. Reg and I availed the GoLite promo since we want to budget our shopping expense in Singapore but Roocie had her bags checked-in.
We were in the airport 2hours before the flight. We had our dinner first since our flight is at 9.40pm. We checked in at once and was surprised to see their new boarding pass! It is very similar to SM’s grocery store receipts. No wonder why CebuPac fares are cheap.

August, the 8th month of the year, the rainy season in the Philippines, happens to be my Travel Month.
Philippine Airlines
A lot of you may ask why but this happened to be a mere coincidence. It all started last 2005. Its been 5 years now and it still felt like yesterday. My first ever international travel was last August 14-31, 2005. I was a delegate of the 20th World Youth Day held in Cologne, Germany together with 24 Thomasians who represented the University during that time. We were all excited and I bet each one of us … [ Continue reading August is my Travel Month ]
