Run, Jump, Make Noise but Do Not Sin. – St. John Bosco
As much as I want to share with you many photos taken during the FMA Alumni Homecoming held in Don Bosco School, Sta. Mesa last December 11, 2011, I can’t. I accidentally formatted my memory stick confident enough that I’ve transferred the pictures in my PC. Unfortunately, I was wrong. My bad. I only get to save the pictures stored in the other camera. *sigh*
My only batch mate that attended the homecoming: Reeva Sumulong and Music Teacher: Mr. Pineda
It was my first … [ Continue reading 2011 Highlights: FMA Alumni Homecoming ]

One of the highlights last year was Wedding Celebrations! A year long preparation, starting with the wedding theme, suppliers for the gowns, flowers, the rings and of course the venues. Besides all the hectic yet exciting preparations, the most important thing is that it’s ‘THE DAY’ when a couple profess their love to each other in front of God and others.
In 2011, I’ve been invited to a number of ‘D Days’ and most of them I was able to attend. However, in one occasion (*) I wasn’t able to come since it conflicts … [ Continue reading 2011 Highlights: Weddings ]

As the start of 2012, I am excited what is in store for me for the rest of the year. This year would be a pretty exciting one as I’ve started a career in one of the top IT companies in the world. But anyway, I want to look back and see what had happened in the last year. Here’s a summary of what transpired in my year 2011:

The year 2011 has already passed and we now welcome the year 2012. This year, let’s all be hopeful and excited that this year’s gonna be the better than last year. May we all forget the past and move on to a brighter future. Let us leave all the not so good experiences of the past and learn from them.
I wish everyone a very happy and prosperous new year! God bless you and your families.

I found this wonderful Christmas Story by kids less than 8 years old. They are so cute!!!
The Christmas Story (2010 HD version) – as told by the children of St Paul’s Church. Anyone is welcome to show this film publicly, but not change it in any way, nor make money out of it. Except for Joe. You can buy his music here: http://les-enfants.bandcamp.com/
Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year in a few days! ^_^

Late this year, before I commit myself to the Corporate World again, I joined a weekend retreat in Brahma Kumaris. In all honesty, I really don’t know anything about this retreat even though I’ve already checked out their website. It’s a bit scary at first as I don’t know what to expect but I just tried to explore and see what good I can get to it. Besides, it’s still about Spirituality.
The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University acknowledges the intrinsic goodness of all people. We teach a practical method of meditation that helps individuals understand their inner strengths … [ Continue reading Brahma Kumaris World of Spirituality: Inner Peace, Inner Power ]

When we look at the crib, we see how God uses weakness and humility to do great things. So let us not be afraid to be small and humble like the Baby Jesus so that God’s greatness can shine through us. -Blessed Teresa of Calcutta
Christmas Manger
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (Reference: 20 Great Bible Verses for Christmas)

Simbang Gabi at Binondo Church by En Route
Misa de Gallo in Spanish, Simbang Gabi in Tagalog and 9 Mornings or Mass at Dawn in English is a very popular Filipino tradition during the Christmas Season. Ideally, Catholic Churches celebrates mass at around 4:00 in the morning for 9 days until the day before Christmas day. It starts every morning starting December 16th. However, these days we are already adopting Simbang Gabi at night time to give a chance to those who can’t wake up that early to attend the Christmas … [ Continue reading Misa de Gallo :: Simbang Gabi :: 9 Mornings ]

Last Sunday was the 3rd Sunday of Advent. We lighted the 3rd candle that has the unique color of the 4 candles, the pink candle that represents JOY.
This week, almost halfway through, we are challenged to be joyful and ever rejoicing for the Lord is coming. Well, if you’re in the Philippines, one indication that Christmas is really coming is the overwhelming traffic in the Metro! Literally! You’ll be exhausted at the same time desperate to go back home. It’s either you leave your house so early or very late to avoid the … [ Continue reading Advent Season 2011: JOY ]

Last November 19, 2011, I attended the Kerygma Conference 2011 and joined the Inner Healing Stream. It was held at PICC Reception Hall. The conference was divided into different streams to cater each one’s needs such as Family, Singles, Youth, Inner Healing, Faith, Solo Parents, Single Blessedness and Leadership Conference. Each stream has their own title that somehow equates to what you want to achieve by attending that particular stream. For Inner Healing Stream, it’s RENEW THE GLORY!
Inner Healing Stream: Renew the Glory Physical healing is a manifestation of inner healing. As one goes … [ Continue reading Kerygma Conference 2011: Inner Healing Stream ]
