This blog is owned and maintained by Kathleen Madula, a young Filipina who wants to share snippets of her life.

She started blogging using blogger the moment she graduated from college. Her first blog was in blogger. It was originally named as “Random Thoughts” and then changed to “Zufällige Gedanken” that also means random thoughts. “Zufällige” is a German word for “accidental chance” and “Gedanken” is a German word for ”thought“. The name was inspired by her pilgrimage in Europe that happened to be her first trip abroad. She was one of the delegates of the University of Santo Tomas for the 20th World Youth day in Cologne, Germany last 2005. She was a consistent blogger that time but eventually got busy when she finally landed on her full time day job as a Software Engineer in one of the Japanese companies in Ortigas. Eventually, she named it as “Daily Musings” but found out that there are many blogs out there that uses that same name so she made it personal thus “Kathleen’s Daily Musings” was born.

She made this blog as her online journal where she can share her adventures, thoughts, dreams and anything that seems to be a milestone in her life. This will serve as an archive of her activities and wanderings in this world. A good reflection of what life has been as time goes by.

Through the years, she has been in different places and wanted to share her experiences as well as save her memories online thru blogging. She already explored parts of Europe, China, Japan, Australia and of course the Philippines. She still hopes to travel around the world if budget permits. Inline with this, she was invited to be a contributor of a Philippine travel guide website, Tripsiders.

She also wants to record crazy ventures she did in her lifetime. She is a frustrated artist/model that grabs any opportunity for her to be in a TV commercial or print ad. Hahaha! :p

In addition, as a former Salesian Youth Movement leader and a Thomasian Volunteer Core Group member, she doesn’t forget to share her blessings to the less fortunate brothers and sisters. As much as possible, every year, she joins an outreach program organized by friends or community:

Kathleen is a friend, a lover, an adventure seeker, a photography enthusiast, a reluctant fashionista, a former musician, a budget traveler who wants to enjoy life to the fullest. Check out her bucket list! ^_^

She hopes to be at least in the top 100 in TopBlogs chart for personal blog category. Also, she uses katlin924 and kathmadula as pseudo name online.
