Our last day was spent only in the city, meaning nearby places because we’re bound to Manila in the late afternoon. We don’t want to risk being left by the plane so we just roamed around the city.
We had our Sunday mass in San Pedro Cathedral Church which is the nearest church from our place. It was also the city’s oldest church.
San Pedro Cathedral, Davao
Davao City’s oldest church named after San Pedro, the patron saint of Davao. The church was built in the year 1847 during the Spanish period led by Don Jose Uyanguren, the Spanish Conquestador of Davao. The old altar of then San Pedro Church is preserved at the right wing of the cathedral featuring old/ antique images of saints and that of Saint Peter. – Davao Island philippines
Lunch and Dinner buffet
We had our buffet lunch again in Buffet Palace. We also went to Lola Abon and Apo ni Lola to buy durian candies and other Davao delicacies.

We visited some chapels on our way to Jack’s Ridge. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the place. It is like a retreat place where you can meditate and be one with the Lord. There are 3 chapels I think in that area.
The last site we went to was in Jack’s Ridge restaurant. We spent a couple of hours there because we thought that we’re having our dinner there. However, his parents decided that we would have our dinner somewhere near the airport. Too bad we didn’t see any good restaurant to eat in so we end up having our dinner in the airport.
