I have a friend who is waiting for the result of her Bar Exams last year (actually I realized they are 2)… I’m wishing them Good Luck as well as all those who are waiting for this much awaited day: The release of Bar exam results!
Today, March 17, 2011 will mark the beginning of their journey of becoming a full pledge lawyers. Though she told me that the results was depressingly low, only 9.2% passed the exams, still don’t lose hope! And definitely have Faith. ^_^
When I read the gospel today, I remembered her at an instant.
Gospel according to Saint Matthew 7:7-12
Jesus said to his disciples: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread, or a snake when he asks for a fish? If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him. Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets.”
I find it very suitable for her and all those hoping and waiting for the results. Whatever the results would be, pray and thank the Lord for it. I do wish her all the luck in the world and to all her fellow law students who took the exams.
I was looking for an appropriate image for this post and saw Good Luck Care Bear. Since I won’t be with her today at the time of when the results will be out (she told me it will be released this afternoon… by tonight, the Philippines will have a new set of Lawyers!), I’m sending her this Good Luck Care Bear!!! Hehehe. 🙂
So.. the waiting starts now.. and I know, every second counts.. :p God bless! ^_^
